Vanessa

THE TAC WANTED TO RE-ENERGISE THEIR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL VANESSA PROGRAM - SO WE BUILT THEM SOMETHING RESEMBLING A 1970’s ROLLER DISCO on wheels.

The TAC’s Vanessa program saw a disused booze bus re-branded and sent to festivals and events, communicating road safety messages and providing complimentary breath tests to young people. In 2012, after years of faithful service, it was time for the original Vanessa bus to retire. The TAC and Lifelounge Agency engaged us to design and build a brand new Vanessa.

With a complex build period of nine months, we delivered a completely bespoke double story vehicle – complete with a hydraulic raising roof, a custom built photo booth with touchscreen technology, a state of the art audio visual system, and even a disco staircase with coloured sensor lights leading up to the 360 degree upper deck viewing platform for a killer view of the festival.

As the country’s longest continuous experiential activation, Vanessa continues to tour dozens of festivals and events around Victoria each year.
