THE BRIEF
Spread the Strongbow Summer Holiday spirit with an authentic Strongbow activation at music festivals across Australia.
THE IDEA
Create a giant Strongbow boat and build a Summer Holiday theme around it.
THE RESULT
The Strongbow boat toured festivals across Australia, including Southbound, where cider outsold beer for the first time at a major music festival (48,000 units sold). 10,000 pieces of branded collateral were given away and a branded photo created every 30 seconds at the Strongbow photo booth.
The Strongbow Boat was built from a 45ft Ketch (boat) and surrounded with hand built wooden decking, a bespoke photo booth caravan and a 6m Strongbow bar.
District Agency built, toured and activated the boat at festivals around Australia, including Stereosonic, Future Music Festival, Splendour in the Grass and Southbound.
The boat became a key piece of infrastructure for Strongbow and perfectly captured the spirit of summer joy – so much so that it became the centrepiece of an outdoor billboard campaign.
